WOCA Clean & Care Kit for Oiled Wood – How to Use
Before you start: test on a small, inconspicuous area first to check the result.

Clean the floor Clean the floor with 125 ml Intensive Cleaner mixed with 2.5 litres of water, then let it dry for at least 7–8 hours. The floor must be completely dry afterwards.

Shake the container Shake the container thoroughly before use.

Apply the maintenance oil Apply approx. 1 dl of maintenance oil per 4 m² of floor with a pad, a short-pile roller (3–4 mm), or – on larger areas – a buffing machine fitted with a white or beige pad.

Work it in Make sure the oil is fully worked into the wood. Keep buffing until the floor looks saturated and has an even appearance.

Wipe dry Wipe the floor with clean, dry cotton cloths before oiling the next section. Afterwards, the floor should not look wet, and no excess oil should remain on the surface.

Continue across the floor Treat the entire floor using the same method, section by section.

Curing & first use Machine-buffed floors are pre-cured after approx. 4 hours at 20 °C and can be used with care; hand-buffed floors after approx. 24–48 hours. To keep dirt and water out of the still-curing oil during this time, it's best to cover the first walking paths with corrugated cardboard (ridged side down) and avoid mopping the floor with water.
Aftercare: For the first 3 days after oiling, don't clean the floor or let it come into contact with water while the oil cures. After that, use the natural soap for regular cleaning. Also follow the usage instructions on each individual product.
