Bona Classic UX — Reliable Primer with a Natural Wood Look

Bona Classic UX is an innovative, water-based 1-component primer for interior wood and parquet flooring. It ensures reliable adhesion for subsequent Bona top coats while giving the wood a beautifully natural, non-yellowing appearance.

Thanks to its optimised formula, this primer is extremely easy to apply and effectively prevents side-bonding of the wooden elements.

Application

  • Floor must be sanded to a fine finish, dry and free of dust, oil or contaminants
  • Shake the container thoroughly before use
  • Apply evenly with a Bona waterborne finish roller, keeping a wet edge to avoid lap marks
  • After approx. 1–2 hours, a light intermediate sanding can be done before the final top coat
