BILAflor® 500 by Scheucher is a 2-layer engineered parquet for full-surface gluing that combines the advantages of glue-down and prefinished parquet. The noble-wood wear layer sits on a spruce carrier layer with predominantly vertical annual rings; the strips are stabilised at the ends with a plywood end piece, and the back is cut at regular intervals for optimal adhesive distribution.
The compact strip format 11 × 70 × 500 mm is made for herringbone, double herringbone, 3-fold braid, natural strips and stretcher bond. Produced 100 % in Austria with solar energy, guaranteed real wood — healthy for living, hygienic and easy to care for.

Solvent-free UV lacquer applied by the excimer process: physically matt, extremely scratch- and abrasion-resistant, colour-stable and practically maintenance-free.
All formats are suitable for underfloor heating (RT = 0.078 m²K/W; BILAflor 500 5.5: 0.087 m²K/W) and share the same tongue-and-groove profile. Wear layer: 490 and 1000 approx. 3.6 mm, 500 and 500 5.5 approx. 3.5 mm, 28.1200 approx. 2.7 mm.
Every floor is unique, with colour and grain variations, and darkens over time. For a healthy indoor climate the manufacturer recommends 30 to 65 % relative humidity at 18 to 24 °C. For gluing, low-emission adhesives with EMICODE EC1 or a Type I eco-label are recommended.
