LOBA Speed is a modern, water-based single-component parquet varnish designed for efficient renovation and new installations. With its high solid content, the varnish achieves a film build equivalent to a traditional three-coat system – but with only two applications. This ensures a resilient, uniform and visually appealing finish while significantly reducing working time.

Areas of Application

LOBA Speed is suitable for almost all parquet and wooden floor types. It is ideal for living spaces, hallways, kitchens and other rooms subject to regular or increased use. Also suitable for lightly commercial environments.

Application – quick & straightforward

1. Ensure the surface is professionally sanded, clean and dry.

2. The product is ready to use – do not dilute.

3. Apply evenly with a suitable roller (e.g. LOBA Deluxe 120).

4. Consumption approx. 120–150 g/m² per coat.

5. A mid-sanding is possible after only about 4 hours – enabling a complete application system within one day.

6. Apply the second coat and allow the surface to dry completely.

Recommended Coating System

• Sand & prepare the substrate

• Apply the first coat of LOBA Speed

• After drying: intermediate sanding

• Apply the second coat

• Allow full curing before use & maintenance

• Excellent choice for projects requiring fast turnaround without compromising on quality.

• Very low emissions make it particularly suitable for areas with high indoor air quality requirements.

• For extremely heavy commercial traffic, consider using a 2K varnish from the LOBA professional range.
