The OLI-AQUA NORDIC 18.40 is very high in solids (>40%), easy to brush, roll, or spray, and can be sanded easily. During the wet phase, a milky haze appears, which completely disappears during drying, creating an extraordinary raw wood effect. The environmentally friendly raw wood effect lacquer delays the natural yellowing process and is free from aromatics. It has a nice flow and good standing, which is particularly important for the spray painting of vertical parts.

Drying: Fully loadable: 5-8 days. During this time, handle gently and protect from water.

Note: During processing, a color deepening occurs in the wet phase, which disappears after complete drying.

Shelf life: Unopened at least 24 months. Protect from frost.

Cleaning of brushes & tools: With water.

Processing instructions:

Optimal processing conditions at +20°C and 50% relative humidity. Do not process below +15°C.
Stir container contents well before use! After removing material, always tightly seal the container again to protect the contents from drying out (skin formation).
When using as a 1K spray paint, adjust to processing viscosity with 5% to max. 10% tap water.
During processing, a milky haze occurs in the wet phase, which disappears after complete drying.
All materials conducting fittings must be made of stainless steel.
For painting resin-rich and ingredient-rich woods such as pine, it is recommended to add hardener.

Surface preparation:

Graduated wood sanding with 150/180 grit. The finer the sanding, the less the wood roughens.
Wood moisture: 8–12%.
The surface must be dry, thoroughly cleaned, and free of oil, wax, grease, silicone, and sanding dust.
Spray application:
Primer with approx. 100 g/m² of paint or paint/hardener mixture
After 2 hours of drying, intermediate sanding with grain 240 follows
Final coating with approx. 100 g/m²

Brush application:

Shake: Shake or stir container contents well.
First coat: Apply paint evenly and generously in the direction of the grain with a paint roller, brush, or flat brush.
Intermediate drying: Let the surface dry for at least 90 minutes.
Hand intermediate sanding: Now the dried paint application is sanded in the direction of the grain with grain P220-P280. Dust off the surface well.
Second coat: Then evenly spread the second coat of paint with a brush or flat brush in the direction of the grain with 80-100 g/m².

Drying:
