OLI-NATURA Care Set No. 5

Contents: 250ml teak oil in teak color, 1 brush, 1 pad, 1 oil absorbent cloth, 1 sanding sponge, care flyer with useful tips for application.
Includes 250ml teak oil: Deep-acting teak oil in gentle teak color with UV and weather protection – made in Germany.
Harmless to humans, animals, and plants: Without biocides, therefore also suitable for indoor wood, complies with DIN EN 71-3 and DIN 53160.
Versatile: Suitable for all types of outdoor wood: hardwoods, exotic woods, KDI wood, especially teak, acacia, douglas fir, oak, bankirai, garapa, cumaru, pressure-treated larch, and more.

Consumption: 1-2 applications | Depending on the absorbency of the substrate 40-80 g/m² per application (250ml ≈ 3-6 m²).

NOTE ON THE RISK OF SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION: Oil-soaked cloths/pads can ignite spontaneously due to heat build-up! Therefore, clean them immediately after use or store them under water. The product itself is not spontaneously combustible.

PREPARATION:
Thoroughly clean your garden furniture before oiling. Remove coarse dirt with a broom or brush; lighter dirt can be removed with water. For stubborn stains, use an outdoor cleaner or mild soapy water applied with the rough side of a sponge. After allowing it to work, rinse off the dissolved dirt thoroughly. Let the wood dry for at least 24 hours. Cleaning water can raise wood fibers; smooth them with the sanding sponge in the direction of the grain with light pressure. Remove sanding dust before oiling.

OIL TREATMENT:
IMPORTANT: It's best to oil outdoor wood in mild temperatures of 15-25°C. Do not oil in direct sunlight, extreme heat, cold, or wet conditions to avoid affecting the optimal oil absorption of the wood.

Shake the container well and either pour the "OLI-NATURA Yacht & Teak Oil" into a suitable container or directly onto the wood surface.
Apply the oil thinly from all sides with a brush, pad, or cotton ball. If the wood absorbs more quickly in some areas and appears dry, simply apply a little more oil.
Allow it to soak in for about 20 minutes; the time varies depending on the size and temperature.
Remove excess oil with the oil absorbent cloth, cotton cloth, or kitchen paper. The surface should feel dry to the touch.
Polish the freshly oiled surface with the white polishing pad for a beautiful finish.
A second oil application is possible after drying overnight.

Consumption: 1-2 applications | Depending on the absorbency of the substrate 40-80 g/m² per application (250ml ≈ 3-6 m²).

Drying: Depending on the humidity & temperature, the surface is: Dust dry after 1-2 hours, fully cured after 2-5 days. During this time, protect from water, do not clean when moist, and handle with care. Drying time is extended in low temperatures and high humidity.

NOTE: Consumption depends on the wood type, absorbency, and maintenance needs of the wood.
